I have a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Sociology from the University of Southern California. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years clinical experience working with adults, children and adolescents, and couples and families. My past professional experience includes overseeing the Community Education Center and Bullying Prevention Program at Parents Place in Palo Alto, teaching at the University of Southern California, working as a family and child custody mediator for Family Court Services at the Los Angeles Superior Court, and conducting mental health assessments of at-risk youth for Santa Clara County Department of Mental Health.
I have presented at local and National conferences, speaking on topics including cutting-edge approaches to couples and family therapy, adolescent mental health, bullying prevention, and safe digital media use for children and adolescents.
